We took my parents to Jörg’s during their visit, and we all loved it! Our server was so fun, and she made our night was wonderful. We all had different... read more... dishes, and they were all delicious and the most authentic Austrian cuisine I’ve had here. The goulash was so good, but if you go, be sure to save room for the tiramisu! It is out of this world! Between the atmosphere, the service, and the food, we all decided this will be our go-to when we are craving Austrian/German food!

Even though the waitstaff and kitchen were short-staffed, I felt like we got our food super quickly considering how many diners there were! Our waitress Stacy (I believe her name was) was an absolute rockstar!

I could say one of the worst waitress ever. Ordered our drinks was never asked if we wanted hourderve. Which we did. Entrees Ordered and brought quickly. Then no interaction . No water refills another waitress cleared plates while ours stood by register. Dessert Ordered and finished sat about 15 minutes with empty plates and coffee cups no refill offered before check was brought The food was as good as we remembered but the front of the house staff needs much training.

Fortunately,... read more... two of our longest and dearest friends suggested it for dinner out together and we’re so glad they did. It is a small venue but they do take reservations. If not, expect a wait but it is so ever worth it. The warm, intimate atmosphere feels true old Austria. The fresh baked pretzels with cheese are a perfect appetizer. Our friends and my wife enjoyed the chicken Schnitzel while I had the savory Spätzle with grilled chicken. Every dish was memorable and the servings are generous so save room for desert. Try their amazing Apple Strudel.

We like German food a lot and stopped in for lunch today. Food was very good and the service was not too bad... just need a little polish.

Our server made great recommendations and walked us through the menu as it was our first time there. I did not wait for a table as we got there right as they opened, but have heard that it gets extremely busy so I guess we were lucky, make sure you have a reservation!

I into coming to eat although we were already on our way to get pizza! 🙂 I could tell that was the type of service we wanted. She did not disappoint. Such a pleasure to be around, so knowledgeable about the menu, the history of the restaurant, the owner, etc. which was very important to us because my Dad who was with us was born in Austria. She offered great advice with regard to the menu, was incredibly friendly and is an exceptional waitress and asset to Jorg's. We had an amazing time thanks to the caliber of food we were served as well as the level of service. We will be back sooner rather than later.

Very good place overall. The schnitzel was pretty good and the sacher torte not too bad.

First time visit for us and it exceeded all expectations. We live in downtown plano and after trying to walk-in a few times, we finally wised up and made... read more... a reservation. We had the pretzel with cheese to start. For our entrees, my husband had the Oktoberfest bratwurst. So flavorful. I had the schweine (pork) wienerschnitzel with spatzle noodles. I also added a side of the Jäger sauce and highly recommend! It was absolutely delicious. We were too full for dessert but cannot wait to go back very soon. Adam was our server and he was very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for a great date night Jorgs!
